PAV1, PAV2 Concrete
The ideal concrete for the construction of working areas around buildings and parking is PAV concrete. Paving concrete (PAV 1,2) provides a hard-wearing surface which drains well at low gradients. Paving concrete resists spillages of diesel and other petroleum-based products.
At Micromix, we deliver PAV1 and PAV2 concrete to the North East and Yorkshire, including Leeds, Sheffield, Doncaster, Newcastle, Durham and the surrounding areas. PAV1 Concrete
What is PAV1 concrete?
PAV1 concrete mixes have an air entrainment additive to create standard sized air bubbles in the concrete. This helps to protect the readymix concrete surface from freeze-thaw cycles, making it especially useful for outdoor paving. It’s ideal for the paving of distribution centres, transport yards and reinforced hard standings. Most commonly, it’s used for domestic pavement construction.

PAV2 Concrete
What is PAV2 concrete?
PAV2 is more substantial than PAV1 concrete, and can be used for commercial and industrial projects. It has standardised air bubbles from an air entrainment additive. This makes it suitable for outdoor paving, because the surface is protected from freeze-thaw cycles.

Our trucks are designed to carry small loads of readymix concrete. Please make sure you have sufficient access to your site or house to allow our driver to deliver.
